Thanks to the Apartment E crew, Taste Art, and especially Nyahzul..
I/Gar BaiLey am gonna be showcasing somewhere between like 15 - 25 of my newest, most spectacular paintings this November. The w3rk will be up for almost a month from November 13th - December 8th, 2009 at TASTE in College Park, FL. -It’s just outside of downtown Orlando. This particular show is entitled: “Creature Of Habit“.

*There will be an opening night party on Nov. 13th from 7 - 9PM. Taste is not only a music venue, an art gallery, & a fully stocked bar, but it’s also a quality Tapas restaurant for those looking to get their grub on.

eYe will definitely be on hand during the opening night festivities to mingle, celebrate, take photos, answer any questions about the w3rk, & I’ll also be DJing some of my favorite music to further enhance the visual impact of my paintings. So if you’re interested in my w3rk at all, and can make it out to see some of my more recent paintings in the “FLESH“, then please don’t miss this opening of my first art show back in Orlando in a quite a few years.

Here Gar Bailey is standing with one of his 2009 painted masterpieces at his home in (n)Osteen, FL. Hopefully this image helps to illustrate the scale and immense detail involved with this particular w3rk of gART. Painted in the Summer of 2009, this piece took Gar a considerable amount of time to complete, working non-stop for like 4-6 days a week from April - August of 2009.

Sneak Peek at a gaR Bailey WIP

Ciao’der friends and lovers…

Update:  So as of late, I have been hard at w3rk in the Osteen studio with my brushes, oil sticks, and troughs. Fastidiously trying to complete a stack of long overdue paintings for my upcoming neo-dada, maximalist aRt show in June.  At the effervescing, omni-venue known as: Caffe Da Vinci. Aka The Tongue and Groove Gallery.

Night time insomnia has it’s benefits. For artists especially. And I have been taggin’ this piece below for the past 9 hours.  -Just took a break to hydrate and snap a couple pics of this new painting in progress. Eye was so pleased with the results, that I figured that I would share a bit of the imagery with all of you lovely, inquisitive gentlepeople.  (When this untitled piece is fully completed, I promise to post a photo the result.. it’s damn near, but not quite there.)

I will be exhibiting this painting at the June show as well, and there’s also going to be a whole hell’uva lot more stuff of this caliber, beyond, and other exciting variations of theme and media.  (*Magical fingertips build transcendence vehicles.)  So if you like my style, make sure and come out to support this, my largest aRt exhibit to date, in June.  ->Saturday, June 7th, 2008 to be exact.

For the freaks, If you just can’t wait for your Gar fix in 6-7 weeks.. you can come support 2 deland electronic musicians, as well as myself and my beautiful, new, video projector.  ->>At: Avant GAR ism #5  on May 3rd. 

After these 2 events, I will be going deep underground for the remainder of the Summer to decompress, reassess, and smell some roses with my family.
