This was piece entitled “New Year’s Eve 2002“, that I completed in one sitting. Over the course of an evening during a New Years’s Party for some of the Orlando Cirque du Soleil performers. DJ Bent Lee was also man’ing the vinyl rotation decks that nite, and he ending up purchasing this piece from me for an undisclosed sum of money afterwards. (Thanx buddy, and I hope NC treats you well my friend.)

Mr. Lee Miller and his piece of gART

The recently released Radiohead video for the track: “House Of Cards” is some high-fallutin’ high-techery at it’s finest. That’s right kids.. no cameras or lights were used in the making of this video!! The footage by Radiohead, director: James Frost, & a multitude of unnamed technicians.. employs frickin’ laser beams!, Geometric Informatics , and other uber modern devices and formulae to create this post millenial music “video”.
For those of you who want to see more than what Thom Yorke describes as, “the internet streaming pixellation squash” of the YouTube version and the likes. There is a high resolution .mov file version of the video currently available for free download, thanx to Mr. Yorke and crew:

So recently, eYe was infiltrating a few of my stockpiles of content, and per chance to notice this dusty batch of 2oo4 era video footage in the Osteen archives A small bit of it was: ZOLTAN DOBI- jamming at the ol’ Kingsweird Studios, over there somewherez North West of Winter Park, FL.
This little exercise in shamanic finger gesturing, melodic percussive smelting, & auditoreactive n00dle gymnasticz happened in early May of 2004. In case you are unfamiliar, Z.D. is comprised and composed of/by Adrian Taylor,
-also of Tel Aviv Bats, and Gar Bailey aka alGARhythm.
Zoltan Dobi self-released their 1st and only full length album “Cooter Beek Invades Foreign Occupations” in 2005, and then again in 2006, but this time in partnership with Polyvibe Records in a digital format…..
