Dear Grandma,
Sharks circling the raft grow weary and apathetic. Five o’clock shadow was late for dinner two days in a row. Jewelry clogs the intestines of money whores, who don’t understand the value of shiny rocks.. and there is a steady surplus of lower back pain to go around. I guess that’s why Jesus invented whiskey.
By the way, did Aunt Martha get those new pair of mittens that Santa promised her? If not, she could always write to the Easter Bunny. I hear the Easter Bunny is very reasonable. Partly because he loves Easter. And partly because he loves pooping out those chocolate eggs for all the kids to eat. It all lends itself to an easy going demeanor and really soft, silky fur.
It’s hard sometimes out here.. being adrift. When I close my eyes I can still see home. Tell the family as long as I don’t get killed by friendly fire, a faulty vaccine, a hurricane, or pirates. That I should be home in time for the Super Bowl.

Firstly, there’s gonna be a rocket launch of an alGARhythm performance at The Deland Music Festivalthis year. *I am actually the only electronic performer playing the local, music festival. -Out of well over 100 musical acts, to play on a network of 18 stages throughout the downtown, Deland corridor . Look for alGARhythm to be filling the 11:30PM slot on stage 5/Caffe DaVinci’s inside stage. Gonna hold it down, till they shut it down! Another bonus: I’m taking the stage after Troubled Children and Deland’s own kitchen sinc’n, wild-boys: DISH. -Guess I better bring some genuine auditory heat of my own, and repreZent for the knob-tweekers and audio-collage bangers’ world wide.

But perhaps the more important of the 2 upcoming performances that I want to tell you about, is the innaugural night of the monthly event that I’m going to be curating, booking, hosting, etc at Caffe DaVinci. Dubbed: “Avant GARism at DaVinci“. Event numero uno will hopefully be the first of many successful nights of eclectic and eccentric performances at one of Central Fl’s most chillax’d, intimate venues.
Eye really wanna see this do well, and hope that many of you will come out and support this tradition in the making. As well as soak up some the one-of-a-kind muzak/art that is going to be happening every monTh. *Should have a flyer up here within a few days for the AG @ the DV event #1.

One of the early reasons I began making collages was because eYe wanted to see entire magazines or books at once.
-A baby walrus of the short attention span generation, beached on a melting island of pop culture. -Mix in a lil bit o’ What Boys are made of. Some carotid, vocational regurgitation of certain common knowledges. -In visual formatz. Inlaid with some fortuity, but more usually a sort of.. Optimistic Hopelessness through morphism.
