Video: Zoltan Dobi Is A Child Of The Studio

   So recently, eYe was infiltrating a few of my stockpiles of content, and per chance to notice this dusty batch of 2oo4 era video footage in the Osteen archives  A small bit of it was: ZOLTAN DOBI- jamming at the ol’ Kingsweird Studios, over there somewherez North West of Winter Park, FL.

   This little exercise in shamanic finger gesturing,  melodic percussive smelting, & auditoreactive n00dle gymnasticz happened in early May of 2004.  In case you are unfamiliar, Z.D. is comprised and composed of/by Adrian Taylor,
-also of Tel Aviv Bats, and Gar Bailey aka alGARhythm.

   Zoltan Dobi self-released their 1st and only full length album “Cooter Beek Invades Foreign Occupations” in 2005, and then again in 2006, but this time in partnership with Polyvibe Records in a digital format…..

Sneak Peek at a gaR Bailey WIP

Ciao’der friends and lovers…

Update:  So as of late, I have been hard at w3rk in the Osteen studio with my brushes, oil sticks, and troughs. Fastidiously trying to complete a stack of long overdue paintings for my upcoming neo-dada, maximalist aRt show in June.  At the effervescing, omni-venue known as: Caffe Da Vinci. Aka The Tongue and Groove Gallery.

Night time insomnia has it’s benefits. For artists especially. And I have been taggin’ this piece below for the past 9 hours.  -Just took a break to hydrate and snap a couple pics of this new painting in progress. Eye was so pleased with the results, that I figured that I would share a bit of the imagery with all of you lovely, inquisitive gentlepeople.  (When this untitled piece is fully completed, I promise to post a photo the result.. it’s damn near, but not quite there.)

I will be exhibiting this painting at the June show as well, and there’s also going to be a whole hell’uva lot more stuff of this caliber, beyond, and other exciting variations of theme and media.  (*Magical fingertips build transcendence vehicles.)  So if you like my style, make sure and come out to support this, my largest aRt exhibit to date, in June.  ->Saturday, June 7th, 2008 to be exact.

For the freaks, If you just can’t wait for your Gar fix in 6-7 weeks.. you can come support 2 deland electronic musicians, as well as myself and my beautiful, new, video projector.  ->>At: Avant GAR ism #5  on May 3rd. 

After these 2 events, I will be going deep underground for the remainder of the Summer to decompress, reassess, and smell some roses with my family.
